Safety Information

Last updated: June 2026
In an emergency, call your local emergency number (911 in the U.S.). Averion does not provide emergency or urgent care and should not be used for emergencies.

General

All therapies are prescribed at the discretion of an independent, licensed provider based on your bloodwork, history, and an evaluation of risks and benefits. Never start, stop, or change a prescribed therapy without consulting your provider. Share your full medication list and medical history.

Hormone therapy (HRT)

Hormone therapy is not appropriate for everyone and carries potential risks that vary by individual. It is generally not appropriate for those who are pregnant or trying to conceive, or with certain hormone-sensitive conditions. Possible effects are monitored with follow-up labs. Your provider will review candidacy, contraindications, and side effects with you.

NAD+ therapy

NAD+ protocols are provided only where clinically indicated. Some people experience transient effects such as flushing, nausea, or discomfort during administration. Disclose all conditions and medications so your provider can assess suitability.

Lab draws

Blood draws carry minor risks such as bruising or lightheadedness. Our phlebotomy partners are licensed; tell them if you have a history of fainting or a bleeding condition.

Report a concern

If you experience a side effect or adverse event, contact your provider or our member care team promptly at care@averionhealth.com. For severe symptoms, seek emergency care immediately.
